PSDI is celebrating the International Day of Poverty Eradication (October 17) with our 5th Annual Walk/Run/Bike event we call Bangla-DASH. We’re happy, once again, to offer this virtual/in-person event where you can choose to walk, run, or bike to help children living in poverty in Bangladesh. The virtual aspect of this event will run from October 12 through October 20 where you can walk/run/bike any where, any time, any distance. All you have to do is register below! We’d also appreciate it if you took photos and shared them with us via email or on our Facebook or Instagram pages.
This year we are once again offering an in-person event thanks to a partnership with the Council of Student Social Workers at the University of Missouri (Mizzou) here in Columbia! We are meeting at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 12th at the entrance to Flat Branch Park at 300 S. Providence near campus.
Registration for this event is $10 for students (including college students) and $25 for adults. Tshirts are available for an additional cost of $15. They must be ordered by September 30th in order to wear to the live event on October 12. Orders received after that date will be mailed to you.
We hope you’ll join us.
