PSDI is celebrating the International Day of Poverty Eradication (October 17) with our 4th Annual Walk/Run/Bike event we call Bangla-DASH. We’re happy, once again, to offer this virtual/in-person event where you can choose to walk, run, or bike to help children living in poverty in Bangladesh. The virtual aspect of this event will run from October 14 through October 22 where you can walk/run/bike any where, any time, any distance. All you have to do is register below! We’d also appreciate it if you took photos and shared them with us via email or on our Facebook or Instagram pages.
This year we are offering an in-person event thanks to a partnership with the Council of Student Social Workers at the University of Missouri (Mizzou) here in Columbia! We will meet at Flat Branch Park in Columbia, Missouri at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 14th. After a brief welcome, you can walk/run/bike the MKT Trail any distance you prefer.
Registration for this event is $10 for students (including college students) and $25 for adults and includes an event t-shirt for the in-person event.
We hope you’ll join us.
