FLASH FLOODING DESTROYS HOMES AND CROPS
Recent torrential monsoon rainstorms have caused flash floods in several areas of Bangladesh, including two of the areas we serve, Kishoreganj and Netrokona. Vast areas of cropland were destroyed and houses washed away along with cattle and other valuables, leaving millions of people in distress.
Food and safe drinking water are the immediate needs that our team wants to provide to 500 families, following up with additional assistance such as rebuilding huts and restoring crops after the flooding subsides for 550 families.
Our goal is to raise $30,000 to help them meet this need.
